Freddy Rincón, full name Freddy Eusebio Rincón Valencia was a Colombian professional footballer. He played for the Colombia national team between 1990 and 2001. He was born on August 14, 1966, in  Buenaventura in Colombia.

Freddy Rincón started his professional career as a football player in 1986 at Independiente Santa Fé. He was also the champion of Copa Colombia in 1989 whilst with the capital club.

Freddy played club football for the Palmeiras, Corinthians, Santos and Cruzeiro football teams in Brazil. During his time with Corinthians, he helped the team win the Brazilian championship in 1998 and 1999. They also won the first-ever FIFA Club World Cup in 2000.

In 1990, Freddy was with the América de Cali football team when they won the Colombian Championship. In 2005, he began his profession as a football coach and was hired as Iraty manager for the 2006 football season. He was later hired as a coach for the São Bento team.

Freddy got into a car accident on 11 April 2022. He sustained serious head injuries and was hospitalized in Cali, a town in Colombia. He died two days later on April 13, 2022.
