According to the auntie of Cazares and her cousin, both of them were verified to be among the victims who were slain in the horrific shooting that took place at a Texas primary school.

At least 19 students and two instructors were murdered when the suspected shooter, 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, opened fire on Tuesday at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, a tiny working-class town close to the Mexico border. Ramos was arrested and charged with capital murder.

According to information released Wednesday by the Texas Department of Public Safety, all of the victims were found dead inside of a single classroom.

Cazares and her cousin Annabell Rodriguez were among the four people slain in the killings. They were one of two sets of cousins who lost their lives. An aunt of the two individuals told Sky News that the news had “shattered” her heart.

She then went on to say,

“Today my two beautiful nieces Jackie and Annabell were taken away from us too soon,” she said.

“Love you my babygirls. Till we meet again.”
