One of the famous musicians that lived in America is Julee Cruise. Julee was not just a musician but was also a songwriter and an actress. Of all her works, Julee was best known for her collaborations with composer Angelo Badalamenti and film director David Lynch.

She was born on December 1, 1956, in Creston, Iowa in the USA. Julee attended Drake University where she studied French horn. After her education, she moved to settle in New York where she worked with music composer, Angelo Badalamenti and played the role of Janis Joplin in a revue called Beehive.

Julee had a couple of her songs used in TV shows and ads. Her song, Floating was featured in TV advertisements and trailers for the show, The Riches. In 2008, the same song was used in CSI: Miami and also in episode 12 of season 5 of Psych, “Dual Spires” where she sang a rendition of Psych’s theme song.

Julee announced to her fans via her Facebook page on March 28, 2018, that she was suffering from systemic lupus, which causes her unbearable pain and has affected her ability to walk and stand. Unfortunately, Julee died at the age of 65 on Thursday, June 9, 2022.
