Lucy Briers is an English actress. Her film, stage, and television roles have included appearances in Pride & Prejudice (1995) and the sitcom Game On.
Born on August 19, 1967, Briers is a British actor. Daughter of actor Richard Briers and actress Ann Davies, she is a well-known actress. From a young age, she had aspirations of being an actress.
When she wasn’t studying theatre and sculpture at Lancaster University, Briers attended St Paul’s Girls’ School in London for four years (1978–85). After that, she went on to study acting for three years at the Bristol Old Vic and National Youth Theatre. Briers also plays the piano and the flute.
BBC’s television rendition of Pride and Prejudice included Briers as Mary Bennet (1995). She has voiced the documentary The Riddle of Pompeii, the 2001 television series Nurses and Ladette to Lady, and a number of other projects.
At Trafalgar Studios, Briers performed Samuel Adamson’s one-woman drama Some Kind of Bliss in 2007, a role she revisited for the 2008 Brits off-Broadway season.
A West End version of Chekhov’s Ivanov and a BBC miniseries about the life of Albert Einstein were among her other roles.
