Born on June 19, 1980 (age 41 years), in Chennai, India, Nagai Sriram is said to be into music genures like  Carnatic music.

Nagai started his musical career playing the violin at the age of 10 under the supervision of his grandmother  R. Komalavalli.

He started playing professionally at the age of 12 years for the  Neyveli Santhanagopalan in New Delhi.
