Lucile Randon, also known as Sister André is known as the oldest verified person alive now who is aged 118 years, 74 days.

She is said to also be the oldest person who contracted the deadly coronavirus and was able to recover from it without passing away.

Born on  February 11, 1904 (age 118 years), in Alès, France, Sister Andre become known as the oldest person to be alive after the death of Kane Tanaka who hails from Japan and used to hold the title till her demise on 19 April 2022.

She is the daughter of her parents by the names of Paul Randon and Alphonsine Delphine Yéta Soutoul who gave birth to her along with four other siblings; two boys and a set of twin girls.

She became a governess to three children in Marseille when she was twelve years old in 1916.

Sister Andre was said to have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 in an outbreak at her retirement home in which she was and happened to be one of the 81 out of 88 people in the retirement home who contracted the virus.

She again turned negative for the virus just some days after she turned 117 years of age.
