Taylor Hawkins, born Oliver Taylor Hawkins was a popular musician based in America who was born in February 1972 in Texas and died March 25, 2022, from unknown causes. His band, the Foo Fighters announced his death on their social media page.

After he was born, Taylor’s family moved from Texas to Laguna Beach, California, in 1976, where he grew up. Taylor attended Laguna Beach High school where he graduated in 1990.

When he completed high school, he started playing the drums for the Orange County-based band called Sylvia, before he became the drummer for Sass Jordan. Between the period from 1995 to 1997, Taylor played the drums for Alanis Morissette as he toured with their band.

Throughout his career, Taylor also performed in music videos such as “You Oughta Know”, “All I Want”, and “You Learn”.  In 2001, he almost died after he overdosed on heroin which put him in a coma for two weeks.
