Todd Boehly is an entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist from the United States.

Eldridge Industries, a holding firm based in Greenwich, Connecticut, is his co-founder, chairman, chief executive officer, and controlling member. He is also the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s interim CEO.

He is also the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s interim CEO. He is a co-owner of Premier League team Chelsea F.C. as of 2022.

Boehly attended Landon School in Bethesda, Maryland, and graduated in 1991. His grandparents arrived from Germany.

In 1990 and 1991, he was a member of the wrestling team that won the I.A.C. championships. In 2014, Landon honored Boehly by naming their facility the Boehly Family Wrestling Room.

 

In 1996, he received his B.B.A. in Finance from the College of William & Mary. He went to the London School of Economics to further his education.

Boehly began his career with Citibank and later CS First Boston while at the London School of Economics.

Credit Suisse First Boston and J.H. Whitney & Company were among Boehly’s early employers. In 2001, he joined Guggenheim Partners as president and founded the firm’s credit investing operation.

 

Boehly spearheaded a deal between Time Warner Cable and the Dodgers in early 2013 to develop SportsNet LA, a regional network that will carry all Dodgers games and Dodgers-related programs.

With the start of the 2014 baseball season, the team’s own network began broadcasting.
