Laura Robson is a former Brish tennis player. She was born on January 21 1994 in Melbourne Australia. Laura made her debut on the ITF Junior circuit in 2007. She won the Junior Wimbledon Championships at the young age of 14 later that year and won a silver medal when she was 18.
Robson was born to parents Andrew Robson oil executive at the shell and Kathy Robson, a sports coach. Robson attended school at Tanglin Trust School in Singapore as a child and came back to Britain when she was 6 years old.
As a Junior, Laura has reached the finals of the girls’ singles tournament at the Australian Open twice in 2009 and 2010. She won her first tournament in November 2008, at the ITF Women’s Circuit.

Laura has announced that she will be retiring from playing tennis today May 16, 2022. She had suffered from various injuries in her career in tennis from her wrist in 2014 to 2015. She underwent surgery in April 2014 which resulted in her prolonged absenteeism in the WTA tour. She dropped out of the world’s best tennis players in 2015 and was ranked at number 906.
Robson managed to come back on track in 2016, but was not totally fit to play and struggled to keep up most of the time. In 2018, she underwent hip surgery and has been inactive ever since on the WTA Tour.
