Terrence Michael Pegula is an American businessman who is worth a billion dollars and a petroleum engineer. He was born on March 27, 1951.

He is the owner of Pegula Sports and Entertainment, which owns the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League (NHL) and the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League, which he co-owns with his wife Kim Pegula (NFL).

He has interests in natural gas production, real estate, entertainment, and professional sports, having accumulated his fortune from investments in fracking. Additionally, he has holdings in real estate. His wealth is estimated to be $5.8 billion.

He attended Scranton Preparatory School in Scranton, Pennsylvania, for high school. At Penn State University in Pennsylvania, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum and natural gas engineering.

In 1985, he relocated to Allegany, New York, where he remained for the next two decades. He and his second wife, Kim Pegula, who was born and raised in Fairport, New York and attended Houghton College, now reside in Boca Raton, Florida.
