Yury Travon Walker plays defensive end for the National Football League’s Jacksonville Jaguars. He was the first overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft by the Jaguars after playing collegiate football for the Georgia Bulldogs.
In Thomaston, Georgia, Walker went to Upson-Lee High School. He was named to the All-American Bowl for the first time in 2019. He has pledged to play college football at the University of Georgia.
Walker had 15 tackles and 2.5 sacks in 12 games as a freshman for Georgia in 2019. He appeared in nine games as a sophomore in 2020, recording 13 tackles, one sack, and one interception.
