Dwayne Haskins Jr. (May 3, 1997 – April 9, 2022) was an American football quarterback in the National Football League for three seasons. He attended Ohio State University, where he won the Sammy Baugh Trophy and was voted Rose Bowl MVP in 2019.

In the National Football League, he played for the Washington Redskins / Washington Football Team and the Pittsburgh Steelers. At the age of 24, he was struck by a vehicle and died.

Haskins was born in Highland Park, New Jersey, and moved with his family to Potomac, Maryland, while he was in ninth grade.

He attended Bullis School and played football there from 2013 to 2016, throwing for 5,308 yards and 54 touchdowns.

He elected to play collegiate football at the University of Maryland over Rutgers University, but after Maryland football coach Randy Edsall was fired in the middle of the season, he transferred to Ohio State University.
