Stephen Thomas Ridings was born on  August 14, 1995, in He s an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his Major League Baseball debut in 2021. Stephen Ridings is a 6’8′′ tall man. at the age of2 6.

Ridings attended Haverford College and played baseball after graduating from St. Anthony’s High School in South Huntington, New York. He was drafted in the eighth round of the 2016 MLB draft by the Chicago Cubs.

On March 9, 2019, the Cubs traded him to the Kansas City Royals in exchange for Donnie Dewees. The Royals published Ridings in November 2020. Ridings worked out on his own after the minor league season in 2020 was cancelled, paying his bills by selling sports equipment and teaching chemistry as a substitute teacher at the Palm Beach Maritime Academy in Lantana, Florida.

On August 3, 2021, Ridings made his major league debut, striking out three hitters while allowing only one hit. Luis Gil opened the game and was followed by Brody Koerner. It was only the second time in Yankees history that three pitchers made their debuts in the same game, the first being on September 26, 1950. Before being sent back to Triple-A Scranton on August 17, Ridings threw to a 1.80 ERA in five outings with the big league team.
