Jon Thomas Chargois is popularly known in American baseball as JT Chargois. He is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team in the Major League Baseball(MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Minnesota Twins, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Seattle Mariners, and for the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles of Nippon Professional Baseball.
He made his MLB debut on June 11, 2016, for the Minnesota baseball team and then he made his professional debut on June 19, 2020, for the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles. JT began his amateur career in high school. He attended Sulphur High School in his hometown in Louisiana and during his senior year, he was privileged to be named to the All-State team in 2009.
He then had his college education and college career at Rice University where he played college baseball for the Rice Owls baseball team as a pitcher and first baseman. On July 29, 2021, JT became a member of the Tampa Bay Rays after he was traded by the Seattle Mariners.
