Jonathan Alexander Aranda is a professional baseball infielder from Mexico who currently plays for the Tampa Bay Rays. He was born in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico

On July 2, 2015, Aranda signed with the Tampa Bay Rays as an international free agent. Aranda hit.257/.345/.366/.711 with one home run and 17 RBI in his professional debut season with the Dominican Summer League Rays in 2016.

He hit.287/.345/.348/.693 with 15 RBI and 14 stolen bases while splitting the 2017 season between the GCL Rays and the Princeton Rays. He was named the GCL MVP for the Rays in 2017.

Aranda divided the 2018 season between the Princeton Tigers and the Hudson Valley Renegades, batting.269/.337/.391/.728 with one home run and 29 RBI.

Aranda spent the 2019 season with the GCL’s Bowling Green Hot Rods and the Charlotte Stone Crabs, batting.272/.359/.383/.742 with three home runs and 35 RBI.

Jonathan Aranda is not married yet but he is dating Milka Medrano a model who is from Ciudad Obregón in Mexico. The pair usually post on Instagram and Tiktok.

In December last year, Jonathan shared a picture of them both with a Caption translated from Spanish that reads
