Kevin Kiermaier, born as Kevin James Kiermaier is an American professional baseball player who plays for the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team of the Major League Baseball(MLB). He positions as the centre fielder for the Tampa Bay Rays.
Kevin was born April 22, 1990, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the United States of America to parents Chris Kiermaier, his mother and Jim Kiermaier, his father. He had his high school career at Bishop Luers High school in Indiana where he played for the amateur championship team.
He had his college career at Parkland College for two years where he competed in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and won the national championship game as a freshman.
During the 31st round of the 2010 MLB draft, Kevin was privileged to be selected by the Tampa Bay Rays team upon which the Rays activated him to both their 40 and 25-man rosters for the first time on September 30, 2013. He made his MLB debut that same day.
Kevin got married to Marisa Moralobo in November 2017. The couple has two children together. His first son, Karter was born November 2018 and his second son, Krew was born on March, 20 21
