Cam Gallagher is one of the baseball catchers who play professional baseball for the Kansas City Royals of the Major League Baseball( MLB).
Cam was born December 6, 1992, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in the United States of America to Glenn Gallagher and Gwen Gallagher. He had had his amateur career playing for the Manheim Township High School where he had his high school education.
Cam began his baseball career in 2011 when he was drafted out of high school by the Kansas City Royals team during the second round of the 2011 MLB draft. He played for the Royals up until they finished the 2016 baseball season and he was added to their 40-man roster.
In August 2017, the Royals promoted him to their 25-man roster when another player got injured. He managed to make his MLB debut that same day during Royal’s second game against the Seattle Mariners.
In 2018, Gallagher made a hitting record of .206/.250/.302 for the Royals with 1 home run and 7 RBI in 63 at-bats. He also played in 45 contests in the 2019 baseball where he slashed .238/.312/.365 with career-highs in home runs (3) and RBI.
