Ryan O’Hearn is a professional baseball player who plays baseball for the Kansas City Royals baseball team and positions as a first baseman for the team. For his none professional career, Ryan played baseball at Wakeland High School in Frisco, Texas. During the 2011 MLB draft, he was not drafted out of high school so he enrolled at Sam Houston State University where he played college baseball.

In 2014 when the baseball season was over, the Kansas City Royals drafted and signed him in the eighth round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft. Ryan began the 2015 season with the Lexington Legends and was promoted to the Wilmington Blue Rocks where he stayed until the season was over.

For the 2016 season, Ryan played for both the Wilmington and the Northwest Arkansas Naturals and in 2017, he was with the Omaha Storm Chasers and Northwest Arkansas. The Royals moved him to the Major leagues in July 2018 and he ended the season with 12 home runs and 30 RBIs in 44 games.

Ryan tested positive for COVID-19 in July 2020 which caused him to miss several games. For the period he has been with the Royals, he has batted .195 with two home runs and 18 RBIs in 42 games as of 2020. For 2021, he batted .225/.268/.369 with 9 home runs and 29 RBIs in 84 games.
