José Berríos, born José Orlando Berríos was born May 27, 1994, at Bayamón in  Puerto Rico. He plays professional baseball for the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team of the Major League Baseball(MLB). He plays the position of a pitcher.

José’s professional career began in 2012 when he was selected by the Minnesota Twins team during the first round of the 2012 MLB draft in the 32nd pick. He made his professional debut that season when he played for the Gulf Coast Twins of the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League.  He was later on promoted to the Elizabethton Twins of the Rookie-level Appalachian League in August that year.
