Costas Takidellis, a Greek dirt racing champion, died on Wednesday, April 27, when the car he was driving crashed from a bridge in Athens.

The deadly accident occurred in the early hours of April 27 in the Greek capital, according to local media sources, with the youngster’s Ford Focus ST losing control on a bridge near Nea Ionia, north Athens.

According to protagon.gr, the youngster was driving the automobile, which broke through safety barriers on the departure bridge and plunged to the road below.

According to the same news site, Takidellis was in the car with another young man, who was mildly hurt in the collision. According to sources, a deceased was found unconscious by firemen just after midnight, and another young man was rescued.

An ambulance arrived and took the unconscious guy, who was subsequently identified as Takidellis, to the hospital, where he died. Konstantinos Takidellis (Yacar Sport) was crowned Panhellenic Cross Car Championship EKO Racing Dirt Games 2021 Champion.
