Ferdinand Marcos is a Filipino politician who served as a senator from 2010 to 2016. He is the second child and only son of the former president, dictator, and kleptocrat Ferdinand Marcos Sr.
Marcos received his kindergarten and elementary schooling at the Institucion Teresiana and La Salle Green Hills, respectively, in Manila.
Marcos was moved to England in 1970, where he resided and studied at Worth School, a Benedictine all-boys school in West Sussex.
When his father established martial law throughout the Philippines in 1972, he was studying there. He then went to Oxford to study philosophy, politics, and economics at St Edmund Hall (PPE).
He did not, however, graduate with a bachelor of arts in PPE, despite his bogus claims. Marcos had passed philosophy but failed economics and politics twice, rendering him degree-ineligible.
Instead, he was handed a special diploma in social studies, which is often given to non-graduates.
