Singer KK Cause of Death: What Happened to Singer KK?
KK, a popular singer from Kolkata, passed away today just hours after performing in the city. His official Instagram profile features photos from a concert he performed about 10 hours ago in a Kolkata theatre.
After his performance at Kolkata’s Nazrul Mancha theatre, the 53-year-old singer fell at the hotel where he was staying. An oncologist at CMRI Hospital confirmed that the singer had died.
“Pal” and “Yaaron,” two of Krishnakumar Kunnath’s most popular songs in the late 1990s, were widely played during school and college farewells and teen cultural events.
His debut album Pal, released in 1999, was widely praised by the music industry. In the early 2000s, he made a name for himself as a playback singer for Bollywood films, recording a wide variety of popular songs.
Many of his songs have been sung in other languages, including Hindi and Bengali. KK has sung in a variety of Indian languages. Krishnakumar Kunnath, better known by his stage name KK, died at the age of 57.
People of all ages were able to relate to his music since it expressed a variety of feelings in an accessible way. Through his music, we’ll always remember him.
