Angel Zerpa, born as Ángel David Zerpa is a professional baseball pitcher from Venezuela who plays for the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball(MLB). Born September 27, 1999, in Valle De La Pascua, Venezuela, Angel is the youngest pitcher to play for the Royals.

With a height of 1.83m, the Kansas City Royals signed him onto their team as an international free agent in 2016 for a $100,000 signing bonus. In 2017, he made his professional debut whiles playing for the Dominican Summer League Royals. He made a recording of 3–4 with a 1.84 ERA and 39 strikeouts over 63+2⁄3 innings.

For the 2018 season baseball season, he played for the Arizona League Royals and made a record of 3–6 with a 3.88 ERA and 34 strikeouts over 48+2⁄3 innings. Angel divided his 2019 season between the Burlington Royals and the Idaho Falls Chukars where he made a combo record of 6–3 with a 3.40 ERA and 55 strikeouts over 55+1⁄3 innings.

There was no match for Angel to play in 2020 due to the cancellation of the Minor League Baseball season because of the COVID-19 pandemic but he was added to the Royals 40–man roster in November 2020.

In early 2021, he played for three minor league teams after being taken off the Royals roster. In September that same year, he was recalled to the Royals active roster where he made his MLB debut on 30th September.
