Brayan Bello Current Team: Where is Brayan Bello Now?
Brayan Bello is with the Boston Red Sox. He has been with them since 2017.
Bello signed with the Red Sox as an international free agent in July 2017 after being released by his last team.
The Dominican Summer League Red Sox and Gulf Coast League Red Sox were his first and second professional stops during his rookie season in 2018. In 2019, he was a member of the Greenville Drive baseball team.
He did not participate in professional baseball in 2020 as a result of the cancellation of the Minor League Baseball season as a result of COVID-19.
He began the season with the Greenville Drive before being promoted to the Double-A Portland Sea Dogs in the following year.
The next season, he earned a spot in the All-Star Futures Game, where he pitched in relief and allowed just one run on one hit in two-thirds of an inning.
In all of his starts for Greenville and Portland in 2021, Bello went 7–3 with 3.87 ERA in 95–13 innings pitched, with a combined strikeout total of 132 batters in 95–13 innings pitched.
The Red Sox added Bello to their 40-man roster on November 19, a day before the Rule 5 draft was to take place.
