Faucher went to Chula Vista’s Hilltop High School. He pitched for the baseball team at his high school. As a junior in 2012, he posted a 1.05 ERA.

As a senior, Calvin Faucher earned second-team All-San Diego Mesa League honors. He was a two-year letter-winner and helped the squad capture the league championship in 2013.

Faucher played college baseball at the University of California, Irvine, and collegiate summer baseball with the Cape Cod Baseball League’s Yarmouth Dennis Red Sox in 2016.
