Calvin Faucher was born in Chula Vista, California on September 22, 1995. He was selected in the 10th round of the 2017 MLB June Amateur Draft by the Minnesota Twins from the University of California, Irvine (Irvine, CA).
Faucher is expected to play a role in the Rays’ bullpen in 2022, so the team had little hesitation in adding him to the 40-man roster on Nov. 19 rather than risk losing him in the Rule 5 draft.
Before the move, Faucher had a 7.04 ERA in 19 appearances for Double-A Wichita, but he quickly turned things around at Double-A Montgomery and Triple-A Durham.
Faucher had a 1.44 ERA in 25 innings with 30 strikeouts, seven walks, and a.182 opponent average in 13 appearances.
Calvin Faucher was transferred from Cedar Rapids Kernels to Wichita Wind Surge. The Tampa Bay Rays acquired DH Nelson Cruz and RHP Calvin Faucher from the Minnesota Twins in exchange for RHP Drew Strotman and RHP Joe Ryan.
Calvin Faucher, a right-handed pitcher, has been activated by the Montgomery Biscuits. RHP Calvin Faucher was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays from the Durham Bulls.
