Colin Poche is an American professional baseball pitcher who plays for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball(MLB). He was born on January 17, 1994, in Flower Mound, Texas, USA.
Colin started his amateur career in high school. He went to Marcus High School in Texas where he was born. During his senior year in high school in 2012, he was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles baseball team in the fifth round of the 2012 MLB draft. Colin decided to rather attend the University instead of signing with the Orioles.
He played college baseball at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. After two years in Arkansas, he left for Dallas Baptist University in Dallas. In 2016, Colin was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 14th round of the 2016 MLB draft.
He made his professional debut that same season with the Hillsboro Hops baseball team. In 2018, the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team took him in as a player and named him the Rays minor league reliever of the year and he made his MLB debut June 8, 2019, with the Rays.
