Connor Seabold is one of the Boston Red Sox’s baseball pitchers. He plays professional baseball in the Major League Baseball (MLB) and he has been with the Bostons since 2020 after he was traded by the Philadelphia Phillies. He made his MLB debut with the Bostons in September 2021.

Connor was born to parents Kirk Seabold and Erin Brown. He is the firstborn son of his parents and the eldest of three brothers. Unfortunately, he lost his mother to cancer in August 2014.

Connor had his amateur career at Newport Harbor High School in Newport Beach, California. After high school, he decided to attend University and get a degree before becoming a professional baseball player thus, when he was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the 19th round of the MLB 2014 draft, he did not sign with them.

At the University, he played college baseball for the California State University, Fullerton. When Connor completed his junior year, he was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the third round of the 2017 MLB draft. He signed with the Phillies for a $525,000 salary and made his professional debut with the Williamsport Crosscutters of the Class A Short Season in the New York–Penn League.

The Phillies traded Connor after three years of playing for them to the Boston Red Sox team in exchange for a player and money. The Bostons added him to their 40-man roster in November 2020.
