Dermot Fitzpatrick was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician who served as a Teachta Dála for the Dublin Central constituency from 1987 to 1992 and 2002 to 2007.
Born on April 12, 1940, in Dublin, Ireland, Dermot is said to have passed away on March 23, 2022.
He began his education at the oláiste Mhuire, an Irish language secondary school in the city, and at University College Dublin where he was said to have graduated with a degree in medicine.
Dermot was said to have ended his political career during the 2007 election as his daughter along with two others contested for his position.
