Chris Wallace was born October 12, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois in the United States. His parents are Jewish people and his father was a journalist who was an original correspondent for CBS’ 60 Minutes. Chris works as a journalist and is well known for his tough and wide-ranging interviews.
Chris was raised by his mother and stepfather after his parents divorced some months after he was born. His stepfather was Bill Leonard, the President of CBS News. Chris schooled at the Hotchkiss School and then continued his education at Harvard College.
Chris started his journalism career at the Boston Globe, a daily newspaper organisation based in America. In 1975, he quit at Boston Globe and got a job at NBC where he began network journalism. He worked with NBC from 1975 to 1989 and then left to work for ABC.
Chris worked with ABC for 14 years and left them in 2003 to join Fox News. At Fox News, he hosted the show, Fox News Sunday. He handled the show till his departure from Fox News in December 2021.
