Enrique Hernandez is a Puerto Rican professional baseball utility player for the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB).
He previously played in MLB for the Houston Astros, Miami Marlins, and Los Angeles Dodgers.
During his occupancy with the Houston Astros, he was drafted in the sixth round of the 2009 Major League Baseball draft.
He signed a $150,000 signing bonus. In 2009, he played basically a respectable halfway point and third base, and in 2010, he played solely a respectable halfway point.
Hernández was called up to the majors interestingly on July 1, 2014.
He made his significant association debut that very day, entering a game against the Seattle Mariners as a protective substitution in the seventh inning and gathering two hits, the first was a standard procedure twofold in his first at-bat, off Dominic Leone of the Mariners.
Hernández hit his first homer the next day, off Chris Young of the Mariners. In 24 games, he hit .284/.348/.420 for the Astros.

Hernández and his wife, Mariana, married in December 2019 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. They welcomed a daughter in January 2021.
