Drew Thomas Rasmussen, an American professional baseball pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball, was born on July 27, 1995. (MLB). He previously played with the Milwaukee Brewers, with whom he debuted in the Major League Baseball in 2020.
Rasmussen graduated from Mt. Spokane High School in Mead, Washington, and went on to play college baseball for the Beavers at Oregon State University. Rasmussen was picked in the 39th round of the 2014 MLB draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks before his freshman season.
In a 3–0 victory over Washington State on March 21, 2015, as a freshman, he pitched the only perfect game in program history. The Tampa Bay Rays selected him 31st overall in the 2017 Major League Baseball draft, but he did not sign.
Rasmussen had to miss the entire 2018 season after undergoing his second Tommy John surgery in September 2017.
