Gabe Speier, full name Gabriel James Speier is an American professional baseball pitcher who plays for the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball(MLB). He was born April 12, 1995, in Santa Barbara, California, United States of America. He had his high school education at Dos Pueblos High School in Goleta, California.
Gabe Speier was selected by the Boston Red Sox team in the 19th round of the 2013 MLB draft. In December the following year, he was traded by the Red Sox to the Detroit Tigers team. A year later, the Tigers also traded him to the Arizona Diamondbacks for some players.
During the 2016 baseball season, Gabe Speier played in a couple of minor league games such as the Kane County Cougars, AZL Diamondbacks, Visalia Rawhide, and Mobile Bay Bears whiles still with the Diamondbacks.
The Diamondbacks team traded Gabe to the Kansas City Royals baseball team in 2018 and in September 2019, the Royals selected his contract and promoted him to the major leagues. He made his major league debut with the Royals on September 5, 2019, when the Royals played against the Detroit Tigers.
