It has been reported that a British tourist had died after he fell from the seventh floor of a hotel in Magaluf in Majorca, Spain. The man who was assumed to be in his 30s has been confirmed to have died at the scene and his identity is not yet known.

 

The Melia South Beach hotel located in the east of the Spanish tourist island is the area where this unfortunate incident occurred. It is not yet sure what drove the man to fall to his death if it was an accident or suicide.

Spanish guard and spokesperson said the incident had happened at around 8:30 am this morning. He said, “The dead man is a 34 -year old British man.This incident is very recent and there’s not a lot we can say at the moment as the investigation is ongoing”.

A spokesperson for a regional emergency response coordination center said emergency services rushed to the scene at the Melia hotel that morning after receiving a distress call. However, they added that “There was nothing that could have been done to save the man who was subsequently dead “.

There is a well-placed source who is said that ‘ the man could have been drunk as the area was a hotel but it was too early to be concluding as he was with other people when he had plunged to his death ‘.

The hotel is a four-star hotel with four pools, a spa, sauna, and Turkish baths which is facing the sea making it the right spot for a vacation.
