Jim Davitt who was popularly known as Papa Jims was an internet personality who was known for featuring Youtuber Danny Duncan in his youtube videos. Jim had been seen skinny dipping and quad biking in the videos showing how much he loved taking risks to make others happy.

Papa Jim and Duncan have been thought to be related but the two were not related at all. Papa Jim was the grandfather of Danny’s friend David Tomchinsky who currently works as an executive assistant for the Duncan brand.

Danny shared an Instagram post yesterday, May 12 2022 that the elderly prankster and his partner had passed away. He posted a few pictures of Papa Jim with the caption, “Thank you all for the laughs and unforgettable memories. I love you papa Jim. RIP“.

Many netizens did not believe the post as the Papa Jim who had turned 92 last December had once been rumored to be dead which was later confirmed by Danny that he was alive.

When did Papa Jim Die?

Papa Jim died on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at the age of 92 after battling poor health for a long time. It is reported that his health condition had deteriorated badly and that his organs were failing as a result of old age even though he was being examined by medical staff. The sensational Youtuber passed in his residence in the presence of his entire family.

However, there has been no official statement from his family concerning Papa Jim’s death. But fans and his colleagues are sharing their condolences with his family.
