Archie Eversole, best known for his collaboration with Bubba Sparxxx on the song “We Ready,” has reportedly died at the age of 37.
Eversole’s family confirmed his death on Sunday, April 3, according to TMZ. WSB-TV2 says that Eversole was allegedly shot by his brother Alexander Kraus, despite the fact that his family first refused to acknowledge a cause of death. According to authorities, Kraus shot the artist on March 25, and he died on April 3 as a result of his injuries.
Officers discovered Eversole at a Chevron gas station with a gunshot wound. Following the shooting, his brother was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault, which was later elevated to murder after Archie died in the hospital.
Archie’s most well-known song was “We Ready,” off his debut album Ride With Me Dirty South Style, released in 2002. He launched the album when he was just 17 years old, and it quickly became a fan favorite, especially during football and soccer games around the country.
In 2019, the NFL aired a commercial incorporating the song. When NFL free agent Robert Griffin III learned of Eversole’s passing, he tweeted that “We Ready” was “the best Game Day anthem ever.”
There is no record of Archie Eversole being married or having children, so it is assumed that he had no children, neither did he have a wife.
