During the early morning rush on Tuesday, a madman dressed as a construction worker turned a Brooklyn subway car into a bloodbath, setting off smoke bombs before opening fire and wounded 29 people, according to officials.
The shooter, who has yet to be arrested, was talking to himself on a Manhattan-bound N train shortly before 8:30 a.m. while wearing a fluorescent orange and green construction vest and a neon green helmet.
As the automobile approached the 36th Street station in Sunset Park, the gunman put on a gas mask and fired two smoke grenades, according to cops.

Since tying a U-Haul van he rented to the shooting, police have been seeking Frank James, 62. During the incident, ten people were shot and injured, while over a dozen more were injured in other ways.
The NYPD tweeted: “Frank Robert James fired numerous gunshots inside an ‘N’ line subway car at 36th St & 4th Ave subway station causing serious injuries to 10 people. Anyone with info about the incident or his whereabouts should contact @NYPDTips or call 1-800-577-TIPS.”
