Brett Michael Kavanaugh born February 12, 1965, is an American lawyer and judge who currently serves on the Supreme Court of the United States as an associate justice. President Donald Trump nominated him on July 9, 2018, and he has been in office since October 6, 2018.
He formerly served on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit as a United States circuit judge and as a staff lawyer for different federal agencies.
Justice Kavanaugh is currently alive but Law enforcement officials say a man armed with a handgun, knife, and pepper spray was captured early Wednesday morning near Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s Maryland home.
According to authorities, the individual informed officers he was coming to assassinate Kavanaugh, who lives in Chevy Chase, a suburb just outside of Washington, D.C.
The man wasn’t from the state of Maryland. He had arrived in a taxi near Kavanaugh’s house. He was apprehended near, but not at, the residence, according to authorities.
“At approximately 1;50am. today a man was arrested near Justice Kavanaugh’s residence “ the Supreme Court stated in a statement.
The man was armed and made threats against Justice Kavanaugh.”
According to the Supreme Court, “he was transported to Montgomery County Police 2nd District.”
