Nathan Eovaldi is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Eovaldi previously played in MLB for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Miami Marlins, New York Yankees, and Tampa Bay Rays.
The Los Angeles Dodgers chose Eovaldi in the eleventh round of the 2008 MLB Draft. His draft stock had fallen in light of his first Tommy John medical procedure.
Eovaldi signed with the Dodgers, getting a $250,000 marking reward, doing without his obligation to Texas A&M.
He cleared his path through the Dodgers’ ranch framework, pitching for the Gulf Coast Dodgers of the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League in 2008 and the Great Lakes Loons of the Class A Midwest League in 2009.
