Robin Parkinson was a well-known British comedy actor whose full name is Christopher Robin Parkinson. Robin was born on October 25, 1929, in Coventry in the United Kingdom and he passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at the age of 92.
Robin started acting in 1963 when he performed at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry. His first movie was Billy Liar in 1963 where he played the role of the jeweller’s assistant. He was active in the movie industry from the 1960s to the 1980s.
Robin featured in several TV shows including The Kenny Everett Television Show and The Dick Emery Show. He also appeared in the TV show, the love interest of Miss Jones as Desmond. Robin was also a cast in The Professionals, series 2, episode 8 “A Stirring of Dust” in 1978 where he played the role of a taxi driver.
In the series ‘Allo ‘Allo!, Robin was made to replace the first portrayer, Derek Royle after he died. He then became the second actor to portray Monsieur Ernest Leclerc in 22 episodes of the ‘Allo ‘Allo!, series.
