How Tall is Jarren Duran?
Jarren Durran’s height is 1.88 m
The Red Sox have a huge hole in centerfield, and despite adding Hunter Renfroe and Enrique Hernandez, they aren’t the answer.
Duran is presently ranked fourth in the Red Sox pipeline, according to SoxProspects, and is expected to start the 2021 season in Worcester.
Duran has long been seen as Jackie Bradley Jr.’s heir apparent, and with the veteran outfielder seemingly on his way out, now is the moment to strike.
When the moment comes, Chaim Bloom and Alex Cora have built their names on trusting their young players, and the phone is ringing right now.
Jarren’s performances in the Puerto Rican Winter League and the Caribbean Series should have clinched the deal for anyone who wasn’t already sold on him.
He hit .236/.386/.273/.658 in the PRWL, with 13 hits, 10 RBI, and 6 stolen bases. What he did in the Caribbean Series should definitely be opening people’s minds.
With seven hits, one home run, and two RBI, the prospective Red Sox centerfielder had a .350/.409/.650/1.059 line.
Duran has performed well at every level he’s played, so I believe he’d be more of a Dalbec than a Chavis based on the sample size we’ve seen from him over the last two years.
For the last few spring training stints, Boston has welcomed him to camp to work out with the team, and this trip should be no different.
