Jarren Duran plays professional baseball for the Boston Red Sox team. He serves as one of the outfielders for the team and wears the number 40 jersey on the field. He was born in Corona, California in the United States of America.

Jarren grew up with his parents, Octavio Durran and Dena Durran. His father is a manager in PepsiCo companies. Jarren’s amateur caress began in high school where played baseball for the Cypress high school baseball team where he schooled.

After high school, he went on to play college baseball at the California State University where he played in three baseball seasons and was positioned as their second baseman. In 2017, he played in a minor league called Cape Cod baseball league for the Wareham Gateman team.[

During the 2018 Major League Baseball draft, Jarren was selected by the Boston Red Sox team in the seventh round of the draft. He spent his first professional season with the Lowell Spinners and Greenville Drive and he started the 2019 season with the Class A-Advanced Salem Red Sox.

In 2020, Jarren was invited to spring training by the Boston Red Sox. He was invited to their spring training for the second consecutive season in 2021. He made his MLB debut for the Bostons on July 17, 2021.
