Jason Joseph Groome is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball.

Born on August 23, 1998 (age 23 years), in Barnegat Township, which happens to be in New Jersey, in the United States of America, Jason attended Barnegat High School.

Jason was said to have been the 12th overall selection for the 2016 MLB draft as he was regarded as one of the top prospects during the selection.

He was born to his parents; Danielle Groome who happens to be her mother and his father Jay Groome.

During his first year as a freshman, Groome was said to have made the school’s varsity baseball team and had a 6–2 win-loss record and 0.57 earned run average (ERA) in 61+1⁄3 innings pitched.

The American footballer is said to have two older sisters and two younger brothers and is currently married to her beautiful wife by the name of Amanda Muller, also of Barnegat, New Jersey.
