Jordan Willis Career Awards
Jordan like every other player has made some career achievement run in the form of awards. After accumulating 52 tackles and 11.5 sacks as a senior in college, he was voted Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year.
Among other awards, he won the “Big 12 Defensive Player Of The Year Award” in 2016. In the same year, he won the “Big 12 Defensive lineman of the Year” 2016. He also had “First team All-Big 12 2016.”
Willis blocked a critical punt by Corey Bojorquez, which was returned for the 49ers’ only touchdown of the game by safety Talanoa Hufanga, on January 22, 2022, in an NFC Divisional Round game against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, with the wind chill approaching zero degrees, snow falling, and five minutes remaining in the game. That play knotted the game at 10–10, allowing Robbie Gould to kick a field goal to give the 49ers the victory. Jordan received a game ball from 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan for his efforts.
