Who is Kane Tanaka?
Kane Tanaka, a Japanese supercentenarian, was the world’s oldest verified surviving person from Chiyo Miyako’s death on 22 July 2018 until her own death. She is the second-oldest confirmed Japanese individual.
Kane Tanaka’s birth date is 2 January 1903, and he was born as Kane Ota in the town of Wajiro on the southern island of Kyushu (now Higashi-Ku, Fukuoka). When she was nine years old, in 1912, the Meiji period came to an end, and she spent her early years in Japan.
In 1945, an unidentified sickness claimed the life of Kane’s adopted daughter, while her first daughter died shortly after delivery in 1947, and her second daughter died at the age of one.
How Did World’s Oldest Person Kane Tanaka Die?
Tanaka, a 35-year-old woman, was hospitalized with her adopted kid with paratyphoid fever. She had pancreatic cancer surgery when she was 45 years old. After being diagnosed with colon cancer in 2006, 103-year-old Tanaka had surgery.
The only difference between Tanaka and the other two was that Tanaka really lived a long time. Guinness World Records recognized Tanaka with the official titles of “World’s Oldest Living Person” and “World’s Oldest Living Woman,” confirming her claim to long life.
Kane Tanaka died in Fukuoka, Japan, on April 19, 2022, just nine days after becoming the world’s second-oldest confirmed individual. It wasn’t until April 25, 2022, that her death was made public
. It’s understandable that many people are startled by her death and want to know the cause of her death, but the researcher hasn’t given a definitive answer.
