Olson (born March 29, 1994) is a professional baseball first baseman for the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and now resides there.
He formerly played for the Oakland Athletics of the Major League Baseball. In 2016, he made his Major League Baseball debut. Besides two Gold Glove Awards and three Fielding Bible Awards, Olson has also been named to the All-Star team in 2021.
Olson made his professional debut with the Arizona League Athletics that season, as well as playing for the Vermont Lake Monsters. He appeared in 50 games, hitting.283/.352/.521 with nine home runs and 45 RBIs.
On September 12, 2016, the Athletics acquired Olson’s contract and he was called up to the major league team.
He appeared in 11 games for the Raiders. Olson divides his time between Nashville and Oakland in 2017.
