Miguel Enrique Andújar, simply known in baseball as Miguel Andújar is a Dominican professional baseball third baseman and left fielder for the New York Yankees in the Major League Baseball(MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2017 although he made his professional debut in 2012 with the Gulf Coast Yankees baseball team.
Miguel signed as an international free agent with the New York Yankees in July 2011. He played the 2013 season for the Gulf Coast Yankees 2 and the 2014 season for the Charleston River Dogs in the Class A South Atlantic League. In 2015, he played for the Tampa Yankees baseball team in Class A Advanced Florida State League.
He started 2016 with the Tampa’s before being promoted to the Trenton Thunder of the Class AA Eastern League. The Yankees added him to their 40-man roster after the 2016 baseball season. He soon began the 2017 season with Trenton, and he walloped 312 with seven home runs and 52 RBIs which were leading the Eastern League, through 67 games.
Miguel was born on March 2, 1995, in San Cristóbal Province, Dominican Republic. He has a height of about 1.83m.
