Paul was an IFBB Pro from Poland, and his wife, Katherin DeNev, broke the news of his death. She announced the news on Instagram with a heartbreaking statement. Paul Poloczek attended the NPC Worldwide Championships in Baden-Württemberg just hours before his untimely demise.

Paul Poloczek was born in Poland but lived the rest of his life in Germany. Paul’s initial passion for fitness and sports was soccer. At the age of 16, he discovered his affinity for weightlifting and started interested in bodybuilding.

In 2002, Poloczek became a member of the renowned Powerhouse Gym franchise in Oehringen, Germany. He would eventually become the owner of the same gym.

At the age of 17, Paul Poloczek won his first Junior Championship bodybuilding competition.

Poloczek later achieved an outstanding second place result at the German Championships in the Super-Heavyweight division in 2012. His career took off after that, and he only became better in the years that followed.

He competed in a couple more tournaments before winning the Arnold Classic Amateur event in Ohio in 2017 and earning his pro card. In 2018, he competed in the New York Pro and Arnold Classic.
