Stephen Ridings is an American baseball ball who pitches for the New York Yankees baseball team in the Major League Baseball(MLB). Stephen was born August 14, 1995, in Commack, a town in New York, United States of America.

Stephen had his high school education at St. Anthony’s high school located in South Huntington, new york. He further continued to college at the Haverford College, a private liberal arts college in Pennsylvania where he played college baseball.

Before he had his debut,  Stephen worked to earn money to be able to settle his bills by working as a substitute teacher at the Palm Beach Maritime Academy and he also sold sports equipment. He had to do this because the 2020 minor league baseball season was cancelled due to the pandemic.

He made his major league debut on August 3, 2021, after he signed a minor league contract with the New York Yankees preceding the 2021 baseball season. He had the opportunity to be added to the Yankees 40-man roaster when the 2021  baseball season was over.
