Tayler Saucedo is a professional baseball pitcher who currently pitches for the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball(MLB). Tayler was born in June 1993 in Honolulu, Hawaii in the United States. He started playing baseball at an extremely young age. He used to play in his neighbourhood with other children even before he started high school.
Through his skills and style of play, he was selected for the Little League All-Stars and even played the varsity baseball at the Tahoma High School in Maple Valley, Washington. In 2011, he was chosen to play for the 2011 Washington State Baseball Coaches Association Class 4A All-State second team and also the 2011 South Puget Sound League All-North Division first team.
Tayler was, not a very bright student so he dropped out of college in the first year but later on, in 2013, he decided to enrol at Tennessee Wesleyan University to at least earn a degree.
In April 2015, Tayler was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays during the 21st round, 632nd overall, of the 2015 MLB draft. He was selected to the Jays 40-man roster and promoted to the major leagues for the first time in June 2021. Five days after his promotion, which was on June 17, he made his MLB debut.
